Tree Carvings

Tree graffiti (or 'arborglyps' as they could be related to), at Half Moon Copse on Salisbury Plain. Some have been left by troops training on the Plain from other countries, or perhaps during the long wait to be repatriated, such as the Canadian one shown here. Some clearly date from #WW1 but many are now difficult to identify.
