Caro Williams is representing New Zealand  in the Cicatrix project

'My sound installation, Call and Response, links the landscapes of the Salisbury Plain and a vast tract of historic land in New Zealand through intertwining birdsong punctuated by a Morse code rendition of a WW1 poem. Through field recordings I seek to create a sense of place or dis-place, working with ideas of atmosphere, nature, history and community'.
